The Production Strategy of Drift 2
First, I would like to address my new drift strategy.
It's extremely small in scale compared to my first drift, but my reason is not laziness. This entire project will be centered on my views as an artist. As an artist, Milwaukee, though certainly probably the best place you could be if you live in Wisconsin, doesn't really offer as much as, say, New York or L.A. As far as an artist goes, I feel claustrophobic, because I have my normal routine of school, then work, then home. My world, which I would hope would be my oyster, is barely even one of those little shells you find at the beach. I feel like I'm going in circles, and I can't wait to have the money and resources to move to one of the coasts.
I also centered my walks around water, because I usually am at my most relaxed and optimistic as an artist when I just sit on a bench and hang out by the water.
Anyway.
My production strategy was to film things that were in the immediate vicinity of water. Not just the water itself, but what surrounds it. People often walk by places like the Riverwalk area in downtown Milwaukee and simply marvel at the water. I feel this is a shame, because there is so much personality to the area that I feel people overlook when in the aura of the river.
I hope you can see these places in the same light that I do.

Drift 2 Maps
I split my walk into two different sections. My first one took my to the Riverwalk area of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which can be found here:

My second walk took me to the reaches of Big Bay Park. This park is located in a Milwaukee suburb called Bayshore. The map for this walk is here:

These may look like tiny walks compared to my last feat, but I went on these paths at least three times apiece. My strategy for the walk and the production of my videos (that's right, videos this time!) will be up soon.
